To do this, log in to your account on CrossLink Tax Comp and click on "Downloads" and then "Other Downloads". From here, click on "Topaz Signature Pad Drivers" and a compressed folder containing the files needed to install the signature pad will begin downloading. Once finished, open the folder and double-click the CIG Plus application. If desired, you can extract the files before installing by clicking the "Run" button. Next, use the Topaz installation wizard to complete the installation. This includes selecting the signature pad model you are using and how it connects to your computer, most likely USB. Once you have finished with the installation, you will be ready to start capturing and storing your signatures in CrossLink 1040. To capture the ERO signature, click on the "Database" menu and then "EF Originators". If you haven't done so already, create an ERO record by entering your information and then click "Add".
